A Saturday card can be a Sunday morning start
If a listing says Saturday, 3 October 2026 at 22:00 US Eastern, the conversion to London is Sunday, 4 October at 03:00. In that example New York is on UTC−04:00 and London is on UTC+01:00. It is an illustrative conversion, not an announced event.
Convert the right part of the card
Early prelims, prelims and the main card have separate start times. A main-card broadcast time is not a promise that the main event begins then. Earlier bouts can finish quickly or use their full allotted time. Convert each published start separately; do not work backwards from a guessed walkout time.
Use the listing's time zone
An event in Las Vegas may be advertised in Eastern time for a US audience. Choose US Eastern for that listing, even though the venue is in the Pacific zone. If you enter the same 22:00 in the wrong source zone, the result describes a different moment.
Why the date matters
Named time zones apply the clock rules for the date you enter. The UK and US do not always change their clocks on the same weekend, so a fixed “add five hours” shortcut is unreliable around those transitions. Check the full converted date as well as the hour.
When clocks skip or repeat an hour
A local time skipped by a spring clock change has no corresponding moment; this tool asks you to check the announcement. When a clock change repeats an hour, it shows both UTC offsets and asks which occurrence the listing means. It never silently chooses one.
Keep the start on your calendar
After converting, add an optional event label and the announcement link you used. Download the calendar file and open or import it in your calendar app. The entry keeps the exact converted moment, including your choice when an announced hour occurs twice. Your calendar may display that moment in a different time zone from the one selected above.
This is a start marker, so it has no estimated fight or broadcast duration. Choose any reminder in your calendar app. If the announcement changes, check the new time and replace the old entry; the file is a one-off copy. Example downloads are labelled as examples. How this converter works
Conversion runs in your browser using its named time-zone rules. No event schedule is downloaded, and the form sends no dates or times to our server. The IANA Time Zone Database tracks changes to local clock rules; browsers receive time-zone updates through their software and operating systems. Keep yours updated, especially when a country changes its rules.
Supported input dates are 1970–2100, with minute precision. Future political changes can alter future conversions. For a listing that gives a fixed UTC time, select UTC as the source. Found a conversion problem? Send us the date, time and both zones so we can reproduce it.
