Email correspondence
Contact is by email. If you email us, we receive your sender address, message and any name, contact details or attachments you include. We use this information to handle your correspondence and respond. Our email provider also processes the correspondence. Please include only information needed for your enquiry.
Site operation and visit counts
Our hosting provider, Hostinger, processes requests needed to deliver and secure the website. Hosting and other service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and browser details. The article diagnostics described below are separate from providers' own systems and logs.
When an article is requested, the site records the date and time, article identifier and a shortened browser user-agent string, which usually describes the browser and device software. It uses that string to estimate whether the request came from a person or an automated program. This estimate can be wrong. These article diagnostic records do not contain IP addresses.
Diagnostics are periodically trimmed to a rolling window of about 20,000 records; the time covered varies with traffic. The site also keeps total and daily article-view counts. This counting code does not set a visitor cookie or start a visitor login session. Administrator sign-in uses a session cookie.
Fan-tool inputs
The MMA Scorecard, Fight Night Time Converter, Fight Stat Worksheet and Ruleset Decision Lab calculate or explain results in your browser. Their code does not send your entered scores, notes, fighter names, fight-stat counts, source notes, ruleset answers or time-conversion inputs to our server, or save them in browser storage. The scorecard creates its text export on your device, and the time converter creates calendar files on your device. If you import a file into a calendar service, that service handles the event details under its own privacy practices. Loading these pages still involves normal website requests.
Fonts and external links
The site serves its fonts from MMA-Blog itself, so loading them does not contact Google's font services. Following an external source or service link takes you to that provider's website, where its own privacy practices apply.
Advertising and consent
The site's AdSense ad-serving script is currently disabled. The following explains the Google advertising services intended for use if advertising resumes; it does not mean ads are currently being served.
When enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, IP addresses and other identifiers to provide and measure advertising. Advertising cookies can support personalised ads based on visits to this and other websites. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
A Google-managed European regulations consent message is configured for this site. The consent and withdrawal controls will be checked before ad serving resumes. Where consent is required, advertising choices must be available before the relevant processing takes place. You can also review Google's personalised-ad controls and manage cookies in your browser.
